Just had two wonderful days in company of ladies who like stitching and quilting like myself - the class with Sue Spargo "Bird Play". Now I'm rather tired and exhausted after seven hours of stitching but I want to share the three little birds that are done.
Hallo Brigitte!
Viel Spass!
Deletewhat delightful birds you made at the class, it must have been such fun with a group of fellow stitchers
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret! Yes, for a change it's really wonderful to be with people that have the same interests like yourself. I sneeked in some samples I made in Sharon's classes and cherished the Ahs and Ohs :-) that came even from Sue Spargo (she was curious what I had there on my table). A very special weekend for me.
DeleteOh, these birds are delightful! Felt and thread is such a good combination and you have made an excellent selection of stitches.
ReplyDeleteThanks Queenie! Though it looks like felt on the pictures it's actually woolen fabric we got for this class. It almost felt like felt and for appliqueing it worked like using felt (no needleturn). After stitching on crazy batik blocks it was really relaxing to work this way getting the needle through it like butter.
